On Politics and your Rights

A friend recently said to me, "it is to my understanding that people do not know how politics affect them". This is a true statement. Some people just think politics are not their obligation. This is not true. We all live in the world together, we are all interconnected. Everything someone does affects another. The things politics gamble with are our lives. How can this not affect us? Most of us do not see an immediate affect on our personal lives from these politicians, in fact, most people don't have a single clue about what's going on. Other do not understand it at all, or it makes no sense to them. That's what they want. A world full of ignorant people who let them do what they want how they want, and THAT my friends is why the world is in the current state that it is in. Politicians are running the country in ways that benefit their pockets, instead of the well-being of its citizens, country and the world. Aside from that the people who are running the country are a bunch of IDOTS. In politics you cannot work this way. Its our responsibility to do something about this. It is our responsibility whether you like it or not. We were given rights in the amendments to do just this, to stop some of these people from doing some of the very things they are currently getting away with.

I state the first amendment because it is the most important. It amazes me how much silence there is in regards to the many unjust things that go on in this world. Its unfortunate that so many people do not care, even though they are indirectly affected. I've had friends tell me, "I don't care if it doesn't affect me directly." So when you don't have social security because these politicians keep cutting it you will complain then? When you can't get home care or work to afford more you will complain then? When your kids cannot go to school because they don't offer enough classes, and the fee's keep rising will you complain then? Or how about when your rights are taken because you do not exercise them will you complain then? or how about when we are all poor and unable to even fill our fridge with food but not a single person will be able to get govt assistance because they are cutting those programs too? When there is no middle class just rich and poor, because we are well on our way there. What will it take world? Because the power lies not in Gods hands, but in yours. This is the ultimate truth. It is up to YOU to make a difference. Sitting around waiting to be saved has not helped anyone all of these years and our world is falling apart because we are scared by fear. There are too many of us to be scared. Our voices and actions are the most powerful force out there and we should use it.
